Christine Williams
I was raised in Ocala, Florida and moved to the East Coast in my late teens. I began my career in 1986 as an office assistant for a Board Certified Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Physician and quickly began managing the practice. I met my husband, who was born and raised here in Okeechobee, and married in 1991. In 1996, my husband and I, along with our children ventured to North Carolina where we co-owned with my in-laws a Badcock Home Furnishings Store, where I participated as Store Manager and Sales Associate.
After moving back to my husband's native Okeechobee in 2001, I began my Real Estate career as the Office Manager for Okeechobee Land Company. I learned quickly that I had a passion for the Real Estate Business and was licensed as a Sales Associate in 2003. I continued my position as Office Manager with the company and learned a great deal of knowledge in the Okeechobee Real Estate field. Okeechobee has been a wonderful community to raise our children; our son graduated from Okeechobee High School in 2008 and our daughter is currently attending Okeechobee High School where she excels in honors and enjoys her activities as a varsity cheerleader. I am very excited to have joined the team here at Pristine Properties International as Office Manager, and am confident that I will bring knowledge to the company, as well as learn from the experience and knowledge of our exceptional team. Shawn Henderson
I was born in Georgia, where some of my most enjoyable childhood days were spent running through the north Georgia woods. Even as a child, I had a deep love and respect for land and nature, that have influenced my career and project choices throughout my life. My family relocated to Florida in the mid 1970's and in the early 1980's I was drawn to the rural tranquility of the Lake Okeechobee area and have since called it home. I have been involved in many projects in the Okeechobee area, as well as throughout the State. I was a Park Ranger at Kissimmee Prairie State Preserve, which is approximately 50,000 acres in size, located in Okeechobee County. I also served 2 terms on the on the Southeast Historic Preservation Board. I worked under contract with FHREDI, Florida's Heartland Rural Economic Development Initiative, a six county regional initiative. I was employed by the Seminole Tribe of Florida as Executive Administrative Assistant to the former President and Vice-Chairman from 2003-2007.
Since 2001, I have considered it a privilege to serve as President of the Okeechobee Battlefield Friends, Inc. This organization was instrumental in preserving the historic Okeechobee Battlefield ground. The Okeechobee Battlefield is now a State Historic Park, which was accomplished through a great collaborative effort.
I am blessed to be the mother of a wonderful daughter. Okeechobee has been a great community to raise children and offers a country charm. I am passionate about my faith, family, friends, and Country and am a strong believer in supporting our Armed Forces. I am proud to be the sister of one of those brave soldiers.
I became a licensed Sales Associate in 2008, and am excited to have partnered with Pristine Properties International and to be part of such an accomplished team of professionals. This team offers a genuine respect for both buyer and seller and delivers quality. I am looking forward to the opportunity to bring my knowledge, background and respect for both land and people to Pristine Properties International.
